Spark Ideas, Ignite Impact
Over 500 delegates attended the 2025 Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HALT) Summit, held at the QT Hotel in Canberra and livestreamed nationally, making it our most ambitious hybrid Summit yet.
HALTs from across the country were joined by aspiring HALTs, school leaders, HALT assessors, certifying authorities, and system and sector representatives to connect, share practice, and explore how expert teachers can drive collective improvement.
This year’s theme, Spark Ideas, Ignite Impact, was brought to life through powerful keynotes, practical workshops, and the ever-popular HALT-led Sharespace sessions.
Keynotes and workshop presenters included:
- Louka Parry
- Dr Nathaniel Swain
- Kristen Douglas
- Joel Copeland
- Kristy Everding
- Andrew Fuller
- Penny Brown
- Steven Kolber
Across two days, delegates engaged in learning experiences that were grounded in evidence, rich in expertise, and energised by a shared commitment to professional growth and impact.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in person or online, and to the many partners who contributed to the program.
Recordings of selected sessions will be available soon via the HALT Hub.
