HALTs across the country – Innovate. Elevate. Celebrate.

Over 450 people attended the 8th Highly Accomplished and Lead teacher (HALT) Summit in Sydney, making it the biggest Summit yet.

Almost one quarter of Australia’s HALTs, as well as aspiring HALTs, school leaders, and senior representatives from systems, sectors, education organisations and regulatory authorities came together both in person and online to learn, network and celebrate the achievement of certified teachers.

Carol Fox, Principal Trainer and Coach, presented a keynote and workshop on how HALTs can elevate their impact through enhanced communication and presence, and Ben Sacco, Founder and Managing Director of Education Economy, presented an engaging keynote on leading from every angle.

Participants also heard from leaders and innovators in the education space, including:

  • Dr Miranda Jefferson and Jamie Gerlach, 4C Transformative Learning
  • Nathan Towney, University of Newcastle
  • Veronica Smith, Highly Accomplished Teacher
  • Jacqui Rogers, Lead Teacher
  • Dr Tee Schofield, AITSL
  • Dr Justine Grogan, AITSL
  • Sian Petricevich, AITSL
  • Nuella Flynn, AERO
  • Danny Pinches and Mark Pimlott, AITSL

All 1410 HALTs across Australia are innovating, elevating, and celebrating for the benefit of Australian students and the teaching profession.
