Migrate to Australia

We provide skills assessment services to teachers who wish to migrate to Australia. A skills assessment determines suitability for teacher occupations for Australia’s skilled migration program.

From 7 December 2024, ACECQA will be the assessing authority for the Early Childhood Teacher occupation. If you have an application submitted with AITSL, your skills assessment will be completed consistent with AITSL’s assessment criteria. AITSL will be accepting applications for this occupation until midnight of 6 December 2024. For more information, including ACECQA’s assessment criteria, please go to this fact sheet.

AITSL is experiencing a significant increase in application numbers and estimated timeframes may be extended.
We are currently assessing applications received in the week of 16 September 2024. Note - we do not take phone queries.
