National certification – a teacher’s journey

Since its implementation in late 2013, nearly 300 teachers have achieved national certification at the Highly Accomplished and Lead career stages of the Standards, and the number of applicants increases each year. Matthew Wadewitz, from Cardijn College in South Australia, was certified at the Lead career stage in 2014 and shares his challenging and rewarding experience in this short profile.
